- Lynne: "I just wish I could go home at the end of the day."
- Lynne: "You know who I was before this. There's no more tennis. No volleyball. No hiking. No rock climbing. I can't even stroll through a park." "I try so hard not to think of myself as handicapped, but — "
- Lynne (sighs, holding her fin in her hand): "I really am Ariel. I want feet too."
- Chloe (grinning): "You can have some of my feet, if you want. I have extra." Lynne (wryly): "If only."
